The Royal Pumpkin Masquerade Ball

This Saturday at the Royal Theatre Thousand Islands, don't miss Gananoque's Annual Masquerade Tradition featuring the spectacular LaSalle Causeway Swing Band with the lovely Hayley Miller. Dance the night away to Big Band hits and try to guess who's who behind a roomful of clever masks and disguises! There will be a Silent Auction, costume prizes, and lots of just plain fun for all!
First Peoples' Performing Arts Festival of the Thousand Islands September 23rd, 24th, and 25th
On Friday, meet Mohawk actor Brittany LeBorgne, who is listed as one of the top talents to watch by the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), speaking on her own experiences in many areas of the Film and Television Industry, and what Indigenous representation is like today. Saturday will be filled with First Peoples Storytelling, a Makers' Market, the Mother-Daughter Connection, Broderick Gabriel and Lorie Young and Shimmering Waters, and then Twin Flames in concert! On Sunday, the Ollin Drum Circle will be presenting drumming, singing and dancing, followed by a gathering at the Little Shoes Memorial, which will be laid out on the Gananoque Town Hall front steps. People are welcome to add shoes to this Memorial to the Lost, Murdered, and Abused Children of the Canadian Residential School System. A Smudging Ceremony will take place, and all are welcome to be Smudged.
